Public Works Department
The County of Haliburton maintains 396 kilometres of roads, 42 bridges and large culverts as well as the Haliburton County Rail Trail so people who live, work and play in the County can travel safely.
Paramedic Services
The Haliburton County Paramedic Service has about 50 Primary Care Paramedics, operates 7 front line ambulances out of 3 bases and responds to about 4,000 calls per year.

Haliburton County Public Library
The Haliburton County Public Library provides library services to the residents of the County. There are seven branches at various locations throughout the County of Haliburton.
Administration
The County's administration office in located in the village of Minden and houses the following departments: CAO/Clerk, Corporate Services, Information Technology and Economic Development/Tourism. Each department performs a specific function that is essential in the operations of the County.
