The County of Haliburton maintains 396 kilometres of roads, 42 bridges and large culverts as well as the Haliburton County Rail Trail so people who live, work and play in the County can travel safely.
The Haliburton County Paramedic Service has about 50 Primary Care Paramedics, operates 7 front line ambulances out of 3 bases and responds to about 4,000 calls per year.

Haliburton County Public Library
The Haliburton County Public Library provides library services to the residents of the County. There are seven branches located at various locations throughout the County of Haliburton.
The County's administration office houses the CAO/Clerk department, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology. Each department performs a specific function that is essential in the operations of the County.
